redid my right front strut (3 hrs).

spent a total of 6 hrs total for just both front struts yesterday but got a weird popping noise when turning left and the steering felt sticky.

thank god for this forum as its a known issue.

#8 is the infamous washer that is sometimes installed upside down, which will cause binding/rubbing of parts when you turn the steering wheel. That washer goes on to of the spring plate (part #9), with the black stripe facing UP.

Finished up a few cosmetic mods

-OE Pre LCI Taillight mod
-M3 Fenders
-ACS Lip Install (Painting it soon, just needed it mounted on before paint. It's too flexible for my liking)

Looks good. I'm interested... are the M3 fenders a direct bolt-on? Do they require a different bumper, hood, anything like that?

I'm not sure when I'll get it wired, it's pretty hot out so I'm not wanting to do it in the sun. I ordered the light bar off of amazon, it was originally $14 but I got a $5 coupon. It's not dead in the center, but it's as close as I could get it with the mount, about 3/4" off center. I unbolted one of the muffler heat shield bolts and just put the mount in there and reused the same bolt. Very easy to mount and I will follow Evans guide for wiring as well. He did a really great job with his install(as with everything else he does).

Not mine, but coded a LCI 328i with halogen to have halos as DRL. Apparently cars with halogen don't use the halos as DRL.
The owner was super happy and I felt accomplished.
Coded using Protool in expert mode (I'm an expert now)

M3 Fenders are a direct bolt on. They run just over $300 on eBay. However.. In my experience with them, the passenger sidemarker won't clip into the slots, putting moderate pressure resulted in bending the fender in slightly. It couldn't have been the thickness of the paint since the drivers side clipped in just fine. Right now I'm running around with electrical tape covering the holes until I can find a fix

Mounted and installed 6.5" led lights. I'm sure it's not a mod for everyone but it is extremely useful where I live. In love with them and I actually like the way that they look on the car to my surprise.

Installed eBay Evo 1 Comp clone FMIC and Burger oil catch can. OEM intercooler feels like its made of cardboard, it literally weighs 2 pounds. New one is 18LBs.

I was seeing 40+ F temp increase and max IATs getting in the 130-140s (highest recorded 149F) on logging pulls with OEM IC.

Log pulls done after installing new IC today show avg 10F increase with max IAT 96F
