Removed the sunroof shade. Pulled off the upholstery and washed to remvoe old foam(came out great). Scraped old foam off the shade. Bought some new tan roof upholstery and spray addhesive for 25 bucks at local Joann Fabrics to attempt to glue old material to for a perfect match.

2. Finally managed to go back to the original 335is Wheels (Style 313). I love the Style 230 Wheels, but had to represent the 335is properly and when I found this replacement set of rims (damn near perfect and in new condition) I couldn't pass them up. Only downside is that instead of the M Badge on the spoke, I have the "BMW Performance" Logo on the lip. I also wonder if they are actually a bit darker shade of grey on the "barrel" since I don't remember the originals being this shade.

I also managed to use BimmerGeeks Pro Tool to code out my seat belt extenders, turn off my TPMS (module is bad), turn on the Digital Speedo and have it display the corrected speed. Little things, but I'm slowly getting the hang of it.
I would like to see what you thought of the two springs...

Is that first photo the UCSB parking garage?

Ya, I hear you! I did mine when the subframe was out of the car. I pulled the subframe to do all the various subframe, control arm and differential bushings.

Doing SS Brake line's was a "while your in there" deal, for me.

I saw a DIY on the rear. It didn't look fun. I think a ratcheting crows foot wrench might me the best tool in that situation.

That's of course if the lines aren't corroded & rusted! That was my case. Torch for 7 seconds and pull, torch for 7 seconds & pull. After about 7-10 pulls, each fitting came loose.

Oh, the joys of living in the mid-west.

I took my time and labeled EVERYTHING. Shouldn't be too bad to reinstall.

When you build 100k + cars a year the savings can add up quickly!

Here is the link to my thread about the two sets:

H&R Race Vs Sport https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1633762

I happened to be in exactly the right position to compare them side by side because I was running the same shocks, wheel/tire setup and took the same routes. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask as I'm sure I didn't cover everything.

Both pics were taken in the Santa Maria Mall North Parking Structure. One side of the structure is open to the sun while the side adjacent to the entrance is covered.

Tried that on the E90. Has my full endorsement, but don't know how it would be on the E92...

Installed smoked led side markers on my E90 LCI.
The quality is very nice, no gap, fits perfectly and has a water seal gasket.
Also white LED trunk light, and it's very bright and nice vs. dim stock bulb.

Which side markers did you go with?

I'm very particular on quality, and these are really good so far. I just installed them today. Will post again if I encounter any issues.

I rigged up a crows foot actually, still not enough room for the wrench when I needed to length also to reach the bolt. It worked a little by hand but in the end I was dizzy lol

Dam dude get some PB Blaster haha.

Oh and since we're in the thread, I just swapped the F30 BBK front and rear

I really like my new car, but anytime I come back to this thread it makes me want another E9x. I may have to start looking for an E92 M3.

Nice, it just looked like one of the UCSB parking lots down here in SB.

Just noticed your Paragon avatar... Franjinha is a beast and a super good dude.

What did you do with the 230's? I can't decide if I would like to roll some 19's on the wagon... I feel like 230's would look good... but maybe a little heavy.

Went to go home, no A/C. Nothing. Not even hot air when maxed out.
Followed the pelicanparts guide on how to replace blower motor resistor. Sprayed it and the wiring connectors with some electronics cleaner. Plugged her back in on suggestion of a friend before I drove an hour each way to pick up a part I wasn't sure was the right part number (why do parts stores not use manufacturer pns?). Sure enough, she blew some beautiful cold air and problem solved for 20 minutes of my time.

I actually had them sold within an hour of pulling them off the car. One of the techs at the tire shop had a 328 at home and he wanted them after seeing them on both my 335is and my E90.

Franjinha is indeed a beast!! He is probably one of the best instructors I've ever had in ANYTHING. I never miss an opportunity to roll with him even though he acts like he's just folding my clothes with me still in them...
