The one thing that i noticed is that the gear number on the dash seems to be sooner than the actual gear when it changes, so it shows shift from D2 to D3 and after a second or less it is in the correct gear. Thats the only con I can find and it is subjective. I am loving the XHP TCU flash, it was so needed for the diesels. Once again thank you RBT.
I've noticed this as well on the Stage 2 flash. The gear indicator shows the gear before the shift.

The gear indicator always changes at the start of the shift. Thats unchangable, as it is part of the program code.

To those worrying because of S mode: Remember, there was a time, where automatic transmissions didn't even have a torque converter clutch. The converter is built to slip and it won't induce any wear whatsoever doing that on normal road use.

There will be a logging/dash solution in the future, so you guys can monitor everything live. (no ETA at the moment for this)

So what flash would you recommend for a road course like say Road America? Stage 2 - S mode? Stage 3 in D or Stage 3 in S?

Have someone movie, how xhp works at 335d pre lci ? Im thinking about stage 3 , but in fact, actually with stock soft, on race logic chart of acceleration 100 - 200 kmh gear changes looks like quick and soft.

It's a 6HP28. Best is to look at www.xhpflashtool.com and search in the database for your specific vehicle, to get all the details!

Average shift time in M is down by 50% on 335d Stage 3. There will be some charts available soon.

1st if you drive a 2007 335i the chances for the apline to work is very slim prodtion date has to be after 03/07 i think which are basicly 08 cars.

2nd xhp are in the works on releasing the platform for us(i drive an 07 335i too ) by the end of July. so all you have to do is basically wait

the reality of it is 1.3 appears like a stage 2 flash, def not a stage 3 style upgrade... 1.2 was very aggressive but i did not have lurching probs like everyone. maybe cause my trans is new but we shouldnt have to dumb down our revisions due to people with old equipment complaining .. written while drivin in dissapointment lol

Try restarting everything. Your cable shouldn't be the problem.

Don't be afraid to go back to v1.2.

Xhp have said a few times the versions are supposed to be choices, it's mostly tweaks and response to customer feedback rather than major improvements between versions.
