Is there much modification needed to install the quad?

Its pretty straight forward and the only modification you have to do is some slight trimming

For some reason my body shop keeps trying to talk me out of the quad

They keep saying it will look strange with the stock bumper because it has to be cut...

Please send me any pictures you have of the stock bumper so i can make up my mind!

I was told that the entire bumper would have to be removed, resculpted, then re painted

100% Incorrect. All you have to do is trim the rear diffuser. We have customers that install the quad systems all the time on E36,E46 and E39 for about the same price as the dual tip exhaust. Sounds like your installer does not want to wait for the quad exhaust to be in stock.

I'm curious, what more is there in the quad exhaust system besides the extra two pipes? i.e. better technology to warrant the almost doubling in price compared to the regular eisemann, or is it more for looks only? thanks.

I was told simply trimming the rear apron would look strange because the stock cut out is bended back and the new one would not be

Eisenmann really needs to sell a rear apron to go with this before they sell quad

I will find out soon why there is a price difference. My guess is the R&D plays a major role in the price.

I don't think I like the idea to cut out my stock diffuser. I think people can use the Kerscher LH/RH rear bumper with this quad exhaust system, but they have to cut the stock diffuser anyway.
I believe that the Kerscher quad exhaust doesn't require to cut out the stock diffuser at all. The Kerscher quad exhaust is installed below the level of the stock one and the Kerscher LH/RH rear bumper can finish the cosmetic job afterward.

Yes we offer SR Catalytic Converter Back Bolt On Pipes. These pipes, combined with the muffler, comprise a full cat-back exhaust system for the E90 :rocks:

Hunter will have the first E90 in the US with the Eisenmann SR pipes installed.
