Nevermind, just saw in your other thread that it's a 2011 N55.

What Android device and cable are you using? Do you have a JB4 installed? And you're using the MHD E-series N55 app?

Howzit, I'm using a LG V30+ and a k+dcan cable. No I don't have a JB4 on. And yes I am using the e-series.

You may need a bench flash to unlock your DME if your DME version is MEVD1726. I don't know what the production date cutoffs for it are though.

On OEM with my vin number it's not the MEVD 1726. NOW I'm stuck. Will the dealership be able to do it. Got no motor plan anymore.

We could most likely recover it remotely since you already have KDCAN cable. Will need a decent power supply, recommend 12+ amps.

Is your DME offline, now your car won't start?

I have an LG V30 and had similar results. I tried troubleshooting with an OTG troubleshooting app, when I plugged everything in it just showed that OTG was enabled, then it disabled. I also went to the dev settings and made data transfer the default and this didn't help.

I then Used my old Samsung S7 and OTG cable that came with it and had zero issues.

Do you have a laptop with INPA/BMW standard tools installed?

At this point I'd almost have to say it's a hardware issue. Whether it's the DCAN cable, OTG adapter, device or a combination of these I can't say. I'd go through each one, preferably starting with the cable and adapter on a friends car and see if they can connect.
