318D Troubles
I'm gonna cut straight to the chase, I have a 318D E91.
About 2 months ago I bought a BlueSpark tuning box, put it on max setting and it was working fine for a couple of weeks then the EML came on. So I knocked it down a setting which caused the light to go out and everything was fine again. Some time down the line I noticed a problem between 1500-2000rpm, sometimes when going around roundabouts I would experience some kind of power loss or a misfire, if I keep the rpm between this range on a straight road I can feel some sort of small jerks (very subtle) as if something is pushing back on the car. I have plugged my car in and got P3043, P0101, P0402. I have taken the EGR off and cleaned it, replaced the Mass Airflow Sensor and it still hasn't fixed my problem. I'm now considering a bad fuel pump? MAP sensor? Injectors? No idea what's going on and btw I have taken the box off and the problem persists. Please could someone point me in the right direction? |

Take the shitbox off?
Sometimes you have to pay to play and running a tuning box on its maximum setting on a stock engine is asking for trouble. What year is your car? |
