Yeah good call on that Doug, we'll have to find a way to fashion some type of flyer on our cars, that way in the next 6 weeks we can advertise while we're running errands, etc. Nothing too obnoxious of course
p.s. You don't have to be of age to get into Hofbrauhaus do you? Won't be 21 for a few more months... |

Im down for there, sounds like a cool place! But come on guys Cleveland, Akron, Canton is not THAT far...
We drive down to Cbus, and Cinci all the time, for whatever. Seems like no one can ever drive north... even for a BMW event. K rant over... Lol

Cbus is an alright drive, albeit boring, but Cincy isn't a one day trip for us to go back and forth.

Still dreaming; some are finessing arrangements to meet on the Newport levee across from Cincinnati, across the street from a killer German restaurant
get it? German cars meeting across from a German restaurant during Octoberfest! it could still crash, but there's room to be optimistic; there's certainly a ring to "Okto Bimmer Festivus on the Levee" |

Is there really that much space to have a bunch of cars down there at Newport? Especially during Oktoberfest?

There is a side lot by hooters where we had 40 S2000's if I remember where this is. We meet up there when we go to the Dragon each spring.

Ok all, I heard back from Newport On The Levee Management. They can block off approx 50 spots (possibly more if needed) in the lot right across from Hoffbrau Haus on October 11th. The CATCH is that after all of the discussion with them (for the past week), each car that would come would have to pay to park in the reserved spots. Normal parking there is around $5 (plus turnover throughout the day), but since they are reserving these spots for us and allowing us to have all day exclusive rights to these they would ask each person to pay $8. I am also talking with Hoffbrau Haus to save spots in their lot for some as well, so we can get maybe another 20 spots there? We are also working on getting some other things going at the Levee for people in attendance, deals, etc...stay tuned for more details on this.
Please know that I wasn't and am not alone in making this decision as I did speak with the meet planning group about if they believed the $8 to be an issue and the response was an overwhelming "no". So I do hope that everyone understands and is as excited as I to be getting together with everyone and having some fun!! So now the real work begins...getting the word out, getting vendors, and getting everything buttoned up. Please let me know if you want to do something specific, talk to a particular vendor, make up a special car badge, work on getting raffle items, etc. Please spread the word to all BMW owners and Bimmer fans, bring the family, friends, and neighbors and don't forget the camera's...I hope to get at least 50 if not 75-100 or more cars at this event, I know we can do it! Cheers Todd

You Indiana guys are great!!!!!!!!!!! I really look forward to seeing you guys and more Hoosiers again.
As far as the cars being BMW's, for this I would say to park in the reserved spaces, yes, but in some other areas or what spaces we may add (above the first 50), probably not but that all depends on the car and how many Bimmers we have there. Does this answer your question? Thanks, I look forward to it! Cheers
