72 hours once it hits port? I spoke with my sales guys today and he is thinking 5-7 days before he sees it at the dealership and then 1-2 days to prep the car. As we are on the same boat (and *IN* the same boat) we was thinking the weekend of Feb 10th. I have a trip to San Diego on the 13th and I want to play with my car!

Well, I am trying to be optimistic. I know I really should not believe everything my CA says, but he did tell me to expect the car at the dealership 72 hours from the car reaching port. Lets hope its true...

Plus, with all the boats taking their good old time because of recent weather, I doubt there is much of a backup at VPC. The integrity seemed to be the first boat that was really affected by the weather...

If its the 5-7 days from port, then Ill be showing up at the meet with a pogo stick to hop around on...

Just curious... How many of you would have problems with the event being pushed back to the next weekend??? This would be on the 17th... Same route and all... just a week later..

Donny... My 189's should be arriving the week of the 12th. I might be able to mount your new wheels that weekend too!!!

How about we go BOTH weeks...those who 'want' to take a drive can go on the 10th, then everyone goes on the 17th...as long as the weather permits what is stopping a smaller group from going early, AND if everyone gets their rides earlier, they can join too. Maybe this can be a bi-monthly gathering to get us all out of the house and get our cars out of the garage. Some weeks, we can drive, then drink and be festive. Others we drive then go do group detailing or something...

Maybe I just like routines or something, but having a 'regularly scheduled drive' sounds like a good idea.

I look forward to meeting you guys on the 10th, or the 17th, or whenever. Good luck to all w/ your deliveries - may they be healthy and happy!

Unless we can do either days, which i dont mind,
why dont we set up a list and see where we have to most people, that would make the decision a little bit easier.

Looks like I will be a "maybe" to a definite "no" for these dates. I "might" be getting my car on the 10-11th. The 17-18, I will be in San Diego, CA.

On a side note, Ashburn, VA is a good hour (50 miles) from Laurel, MD so it is a bit of a hike. Do you guys ever meet up a little closer to DC and/or Maryland?

It would be kind of nice to meet up with some of you!

PS I revisited Leeds Manor the other day. Stopped by that vineyard we always zoom by (first segment), its not bad. They serve lasagna for lunch on the weekends
