Can someone check something for me?

Can any of you guys with a post-september build car with iDrive check something for me? If you play a legal copy CD, will the song titles come up on the screen?

Note that the CD must say CD TEXT on it or you won't get any titles either way. I have only one CD that is CD TEXT.

If you want CD-TEXT information to be displayed on a CD, try making your own CD music compilation using NERO- it will grab the track info from an online database & let you see it when you play the CD.
My head unit displays CD-TEXT data without any problem, but the 6-CD multichanger will not.

Thank you very much I'll try NERO. I tried my legal copy CDs such as Usher, Eminem, Hoobastank etc etc etc in both the CD changer and in-dash unit but song titles do not come up, I thought it'd be the same as if I was listening to the CDs on my comp, but I guess iDrive isn't that sophisticated, hehe.

Is the program called Nero Digital 1.0?

Just slightly , but just to let members know, if anyone is considering making a copy of the satellite navigation DVD, burning at speeds greater than x4 seems to stop the e90's DVD drive reading the disc properly (irrespective of DVD media, burner & software)- x4 works perfectly though!
