New Brakes Bad?

Just replaced the front and rear rotors and pads with brand new Stop Tech about 45 days ago. All has been fine, stopping is great, no issues. Today, I went for a short drive and the pedal almost went to the floor and the pedal and steering wheel were shaking like I have a warped rotor. I have not changed anything or did anything to effect the brakes. One day they are great, next day horrible? Any thoughts? I do not drive the car hard, I use it to run errands here and there, not even a daily driver. I might have 1000 miles on these rotors and pads if that.

If it only happens when you brake at high speeds they are most likely warped.

did you do the job yourself? if so I would re check your wheels. You probably over thighted the wheels or something...

If you took it to a shop to get your brakes replaced, I would go back and explain your situation...

Checked the torque on the wheels, and it is fine. Car was acting perfect Friday, car sat for two days until today. Today the brakes felt horrible. I'm stumped...

I have a good friend that has been lead mechanic at several dealers over the years do the work. He has a shop at his house. I asked him about it and he is stumped, he said doesn't make any sense and maybe I should ask you guys to see if anyone else has experienced something similar....
