The improvements have already been made with the exception that the current exhaust doesn't fit the XI without minor modification tot he front pipe. We have about a dozen of these kits currently on XI cars although they did require about 1-2 hours worth of labor to modify the front pipe.

The new catback has better clearance and allows the retention of the mid center brace. The new setup also better fits XI's with aftermarket downpipes.

You guys are better off just ordering the exhaust now and paying a shop ~$150 or so to modify it. It's a very simple job for any competent exhaust shop. We've had a handful of customers do it already and I'm sure VRSF knows of plenty more.

You may be waiting 6 months or more for a revision.

I'm not 100% sure if it's just a cut & weld. I'm not sure if piping needs to be added or not. You should email VRSF direct as they will know more.

It's cut and weld and you might need to add a short straight 3.5" section in depending on where it's cut.

Is it gonna be this year at least? Want to buy exhaust. Been holding out for this. Been thinking of going corsa. If it's gonna be this year I'll hold out a bit longer.

I don't believe it's been redesigned. If you really want it most shops can modify it for another $200 or so (some even less).
