Rear driveshaft hub nut torque

Hi would like to get some input around how tight I should torque the m27 nut too technical data shows 420nm for the 335i and 300nm for an M3 now my dilemma is I've fitted M3 hubs and knuckles still using the 335i shafts so sure to go with 420nm or 300nm. Any input would be appreciated thanks

Interesting dilemma. I would probably torque to 420 as you are torquing the nut onto the shaft. I assume m3 driveshaft might be made from a different material hence the difference? But that’s an educated guess

That's a good point actually with the shafts as the rest is the same.
