I do have a PP82DSP installed. And finally just installed EPS/Indvidual Audio speakers all around. Once I am happy with tuning the PP82DSP, I’d like to move on to the CarPlay. If quality CarPlay seems too much of a pain, I’ll just live with my phone connected via OEM USB.
I have not figured out why I can’t find anything that leverages the USB for CarPlay. Most android units seem to use the aux or the A2DP Bluetooth that my car does not have (despite having a Combox). I hear tell that some “later” HiFi non-I drive head units can simply activate A2DP if, like me, they already have a Combox, but haven’t gotten any hard info on it.
