Looks good if you want to piss off plastic parts, but some of these mods reduce performance, like all the aftermarket intake manifolds lol

I am guessing you were around 75% WGDC with stock turbo at 15psi, 70% with stage 1 and 40% for stage 2. The more efficient the turbo, the easier it is to make boost, the lower the WGDC.

Now if you get something like the inlet pipe, it will reduce WGDC for that turbo. However, it does not mean the turbo will produce more power at the same boost, it just means it will make it easier for that turbo to hit its boost. I am interested in the inlet because it may help the stock turbo hold boost a bit better to redline. If this is true for the stock turbo (we know it is true for stage 2) I should be able to run more boost higher in the rpms, resulting in more power. But if I were not to change my boost targets, it would result in no gains since I am not running more boost. It would result in a lower WGDC,making it easier on the turbo but that is about it.
See this is the reason I love this site! I know i probably could take the time to search Google/the Internet and read stuff like this for my ownself but somehow it just seems more appealing to me to read it from the resident experts here.

Thanks for posting this, keep stuff like this coming because it helps those of us who know little to nothing about these kinds of things and our cars to learn.

I appreciate this very much.

What size screw/bolt/hex is it that's holding the pipe in place? I have the inlet, just need to know what tools I will need to install it.

Just look at it? It's right on top and easy to access. It's some torx bit I'm not sure the size.

Inlet's for the N54 just exposed an additional ~90HP; although not apples to apples i think this may show some justice
My mechanic was not able to connect mine directly because he claimed he couldn't get it to fit because the rubber housing/hose wasn't big enough, he said the hose was 2 7/8" on the end (away from the CP/Turbo) and that I needed a hose at least 3" or a little bigger that he could fit around it.

So the hose on one side was correct in diameter but the other one was not. Suggestions for a Noob to this please??
