Parking sensor pdc swap out
Just to let anyone who has a duff front parking sensor, you can replace the second one in from either end without removing the whole bumper. So that means that you never need to remove the bumper to change any of the parking sensors.
Just remove the wheel nearest the duff sensor, remove the wheel arch liner, undo the two bumper mounting bolts, pop the bonnet and undo the four spline drive screws that hold the top of the bumper onto the slam panel. The bumper can then be pulled just far enough forward to get one hand in, unclip the sensor, remove and replace. Time: about 45 mins. Cost: ebay sensor £12, NOT BMW PRICES!
