Please do post pics of mncampbell's car when the new car prep is done.
Jet Black and Lemon would be an awesome combo. I went Monaco Blue over Lemon because I was worried I couldn't keep up with keeping a Jet Black car clean enough. Joke is on me. Monaco Blue shows the dirt just as much. Love the Lemon interior though. No regrets. |

When will people read the thread before posting? Apparently never. We settled everything a while ago.
Stop bumping the thread. Read and you will find the outcome.

i think this post had alot of misinterpretation which is ever present in the "internet" age. It's very common, someone read it and thinks it's harsh when it wasn't meant to be or apparent sarcasm wasn't so apparent for others. However, it would have been more tactful to have communicated via PM.
For FMINUS, Let me start off that you appear to do great work (you can only get so much from pics) and is very motivating for a novice. You apparently get a lot of questions your way from people (myself included), perhaps working with an admin in creating a sticky for a FMINUS FAQ of your steps and processes, and common tools you use for all your details (such as the "foam cannon"). For everyone else, i believe FMINUS try's to answer questions as best/often as he can, if you provide him with proof that you did some initial research, it appears he answers more. For example, if your looking for this foam cannon, do a quick search on multiple search engines (wow multiple) and provide some links asking if thats the particular one he uses. At least when i asked a question in this manner it was answered. People always want the easy way out by asking a question and having it answered but if they took the extra 10 minutes to do some leg work, they could answer for themselves. |

I think FMINUS has been very helpful. Whenever I have asked a question he has been very responsive and timely in his replies. Keep in mind that he has a regular job plus he does the detailing on the side. I think it is ridiculous for us to expect him to provide step by step on every detail job. It would take hours. How about being gracious for the help we do receive?

FMINUS your the man, fuck some of these assholes who have nothing better to do than bash you on the "Internet" there are many Jealous people in this world.
BTW I've personally e-mailed him and he answered my questions in minutes and was a great help. Please continue posting your great work!! Sometimes it seems like we are back in 5th grade on these forums, grow up people.

To the O/P:
When you go to a gallery, do you expect every painting to have the artist alongside offering lessons? I think you should be so lucky that this artist provides a list of his materials. Keep it up FMINUS, most of the lurking I do on this forum is when I admire your handiwork; I rarely post but this topic annoyed me. |

How bout you think to yourself your thoughts and keep them bottled up in your heads cuz no one needs to know them

Well since you want to keep going with this if you originally kept your thoughts to yourself this thread wouldn't exist!

Yeah, maybe. And again, I never said anything bad about him or his work. This thread doesn't need to keep existing if it weren't for fools like you still bringing it up.

Besides if Fminus wants to keep some things to himself, thats his choice, he's not obligated to write a step by step of his process, if he did it would be more work for him to post than it's worth. If anyone is looking for advice the best place to visit would be autopia.
