Perth: lead on a place to do DIY PE mod
Folks of Perth,
If anyone is interested in having the DIY PE mod done to their exhaust, the place I had mine done is happy to do the modifications for anyone on the forum. The price is good and I can vouch for both the quality of work and the improvement in sound after the mod... PM me if you want any more info. Craig |

For the meantime, please pm me the price that they charged you if you don't mind? Just want to have a budget in mind. |

I wouldn't be paying more than $300, all they are doing is making it straight through isn't it?
Better off getting some straight pipes made up with 4 inch tips and having the stock exhaust to fall back to |

Seems like some of these guys who quoted a bit more, just want to raise their price up because it's tedious work... still want someone from Vic for around 300-400!

I paid $400 which I consider to be a fair price. Parts cost is low but it took a fair few hours and is completely undetectable one reinstalled.
If you are there on Saturday I can gove out the details, else PM me. |

Will be interested to hear this tomorrow. Mine is quite loud on cold start up with catless dump and golf tee mod. Once its warm its nice. I imagine on cold start it'll be reasonably loud.

yeah mine has got a fair bit louder on cold start without upgraded DP's.
I figure once I get to that position I'll just enable the cold start noise reduction feature if the noise is overbearing (for the wife...) |
