Best small van??
Hello boys....its been a while since i've been on here but I need some recommendations.
I need to buy a small van like a Combo / Berlingo / Partner etc. I've been looking at a 1.6 hdi berlingo or partner or a 1.7 cdti combo. What small van would you suggest. Looking to spend no more than about 4k if i can help it. Cheers guys.

Caddy is the best small van, by a mile. But at 4k you'd be buying a high miler, however as long as it's been looked after no problem. Failing that Citroen Berlingo Hdi would be a good second. Run and sold loads of, both of these vans, money would always VW first though.

Thats the trouble with a fiesta, they are just tiny, hence why they are so cheap - bloody good 'little' vans though.

TBH a Partner or Berlingo (almost the same) are both great. Generally reliable, spacious and fairly nippy.
I've driven 100s of miles in a Berlingo van (for a job a while back) and often had fun ragging it half to death. Just don't get white. |

Astra Van is good but can't get much in them in reality. Bigger than fiesta/corsa vans.
Drives like a car also. (p.s thanks for the tit pics)

would the berlingo/partner be favourable over the vauxhall combo?
They're what i've pretty much narrowed it down to.

Yes. The 1.3CDTI combo is very frugal and quite nippy. However they are very tail heavy, but can obviously carry more.

Did 50k miles over 3 years and had very few issues with it. I think a headlamp, radiator and a head gasket just before we sold it with 85k miles on it. Cost us £4k and sold it for £2300 - absolute bargain motoring!! |
