Sorry, I didn't have these developed or coded then. I just found them not too long ago.

They will work with your ECA, though. You'd just need to update the firmware via USB.

PM me and I'll cut you a deal. The two I have are spoken for, but I just ordered 5 more.

New power supplies are in. Always trying to improve things, I thought I'd give these a try.

These guys produce a rock steady 5 volts flat, with no ripple regardless of input voltage. Perfect for a car where the voltage fluctuates depending on RPM, alternator output, etc.

Should provide much more consistency than the USB power supplies of past. These will insert inline between the sensor harness with a provided y-connector, instead of being powered through the USB port (power through the USB port uses the ECA's on board voltage regulator, which sucked some voltage).

Power supply:

Producing 5 volts with a 12.75 volt input:

First digital display shipping out. Ended up using RJ45 connectors for the connection.

Future ones will have a female connector on the ECA side instead of male (doesn't make a difference, just eliminates the cost of the coupler).

A couple people have asked about wiring. All orders from yesterday on will feature interlocking connectors, which should make things much easier and cleaner.

For anyone with current ECA's up to yesterday, here's how you wire them:

For USB powered - the USB power supply red / black get wired to the DME power / ground. The USB cable is then plugged into the ECA and the power supply:

For new power supply models:

For the digital display:

Where do you recommend you tap into for the power supply?

Most people tap it at the green DME power connector.

I just installed this kit yesterday and wanted to post my review in case anyone was on the fence.

There is a lot of thought that goes into the design of this new upgraded kit. The connections are idiot proof (different sized connectors for each adapter and to connect to the jb4). Everything is waterproof and doesn't look like corners were cut on materials. Everything was truly plug and play - took less than 30mins start to finish.

I only got the analyzer and connector to the jb4 - however I love that the setup is pre-wired if I want to add anything later (and also usb upgradeable). Again, time was clearly put into the design.

Aside from the fact that you're saving about half of the cost ($80 shipped versus $149+tax/shipping from fuel-it), I love the fact that I'm supporting a forum member doing his thing rather than a formal business. I feel fuel-it is a great business that brings cool n54 mods to market, but I'm more the kind of person that likes to support the ingenuity of new entries to market.

Finally, the customer service and support was top notch. I installed it yesterday and forgot to change the scaling on the methanol settings (jb4). I messaged str8shot before going to bed and woke up to a solution on how to set everything up properly.

Everything works great!!

Feel free to contact me if anyone is on the fence - str8shot is a stand up guy and I'm impressed with this setup.

This looks like a great system. I want to add this to be used with the JB4 and mobile app that has the JB4connect bluetooth running. So which system do I need? Also can the sensor be added into the line if I were to get the female connectors while still on the car or does the fuel line have to be removed. If I can do it on the car can you sell the connectors as well as the sensor so I could just get a complete install package from you. If not a link to where the sensor and connectors can be purchased. Thanks

You would just need the basic ECA if you have a JB4 bluetooth connect kit.

I don't sell the lines or sensor, but you can install the female fittings while the line is still on the car. You just need to get underneath it.

It's probably easier taking the fuel line off, though.

The sensor can be purchased at most GM dealers, and the female connectors can be ordered through Amazon. Dorman part # 800-085.

You will need the dorman tool to install the female connectors. Part number 800-301.

Just an update for anyone waiting for an order with a digital display:

The batch of displays I received are **** and not a single one works. I've already re-ordered, but unfortunately that means waiting a little bit yet. I know some of you are getting anxious. I'd happily give you the vendors name I received these from so you can go kick him in the balls, but China is a hike.

This should be reading "E. 28":

All 8 of them just display random garbage. Very aggravating.

If you're waiting for a standard or bluetooth ECA with no display, it will ship shortly.
