Question Help requested, did vendor send me the right shocks??

Hello, looking for any experience with possibly using an E92 sport shock on an E90 LCI M-Sport. Was all set to do this today and then I checked the part numbers and am not so sure now.

I'm uncertain if I am permitted to name the vendor here, please let me know and I will update. The support is not open on the weekend, so figured I would ask the knowledgable folk here!

I've got a 2011 335i M-Sport. I ordered Bilstein B4 OE rear shocks for cars with sports suspension. The part number I was sent was 19-136622. On the vendor's site it appears to indicate that the part is suitable for both coupes and sedans. However, three different vendor websites disagreed and indicated that it was not correct and that what I have is only for the E92. They suggested a different part number for E90 sedans with sports suspension. The duelling parts are:

19-136622 - my vendor says good for E92,E90 w/ S704A
19-135052 - my vendor says does not fit

Appreciate any insights!

Thanks for the info Slupie and the link to Bilstein!

I'm pretty sure that M-Sport uses the same sports suspension as a sport model. The only thing I see different between those two part numbers from Bilstein's info is that the one I have is for LCI and the other one is for pre-LCI. But no info on sports or not. I saw that most vendors selling the B4s have a version for sports and a version for non-sports suspensions.

Anyone had any direct experience with installing these shocks? Just don't want to find myself raising the car and trying to install only to find they won't fit...
