Clunking noise from front suspension

Just reposting this in here, figured I could get some suspension gurus to help me diagnose and assist with potential replacement parts if needed

I notice a clunking sound from inside the vehicle when pulling into or reversing out of my driveway (wheels almost at full lock and car is on a slight incline) Its definitely coming from the front and happens almost every time. During normal street driving everything is fine.

I pulled off the front wheels with the car jacked up, grabbed the lower control arms and other suspension components and wiggled them around and nothing seems loose. I also inspected the bushings that I could see and they seem to look ok (not cracked or blown out)

Is there anything else I could check or any idea of what it could be?

Current suspension: Eibach pro kit w/ Koni yellows, 2010 e90 335i, 115,000 kms.

Cheers

Usually clunks are from Sway bar end links not being tightened properly, should be 58Nm and you need to counterhold the stud so you can tighten it

Caster bushes blown? Do you feel a strong thump/knock from the front end when braking firmly?

Nope, no sound when braking at all.

I was just looking online for front upper and lower control arms and came across the M3 upgrade for the non M E9x. As per the website it says: The lower control arm is slightly longer which adds approximately .75° of negative camber I'm curious as to how much .75° would be in mm as my wheel is already quite close to the top of the shock (approximately 5-10mm) Last thing I would want is to install these and have the wheel contact the shock.

1. Work out the tyre diameter.
(2 x tire width x aspect ratio / 100) + (wheel diameter) = tyre diameter
eg. 225/35 19" = (2 x 225 x 0.35) + (19 x 25.4) = 640mm

2. Sine of 0.75 x radius of tyre
eg. 0.0130896 x 320 = 4.18mm

The M3 arms are a proven upgrade and do not cause issues with the tyre touching the shock. The knuckle, wheel bearing and shock are all solidly mounted to each other with no pivots and the control arms have no influence on this.

I checked the sway bar end links, they were still torqued to spec. One thing I noticed is that I could move them laterally by hand. I assume that's normal as they need to swivel side to side?

I also checked both the control arms, the upper one had about 1mm play in it when I grabbed hold and tried to twist it. Not sure if that warrants replacing them?

So what your saying is by adding the M3 arms my camber wont change?

No I am saying the wheel clearance wont change relative to the strut.

The M3 lower arm is longer and positions the wheel/knuckle/strut assembly's pivot point outwards, resulting in more negative camber. But this doesn't influence the wheel clearance to the shock.
