The big question ?
We all know hire cars are the quickest cars on the road and we all know that Black cars are also generally quicker.
So..........The question is, How quick will a Black hire car that has a ZERO excess be ? Just dropped the smurf at the dealers to get the diff done, their hire car section is closed so assist have gotten hold of a BMW from Enterprise `till tomorrow when they will try to get me "a like for like car", I pointed out so many scratches, marks and dents to the Enterprise guy that the he has given me a Zero excess and told me to bring it back with no petrol. I might even strap the G-tech in it now, I beleive the ideal launch technique for cars with less than 200 hp is to select first gear, floor the accelerator and then side step the clutch. Is that right ? Anyone want a test drive ? Or even just wanting to come and kick it ? |

Why? How old are you? I knew guys doing this kind thing 20 years ago - they were 18 at the time. |

GPS yes accurate to within +/- 0.02 secs apparently.
Do a google search for G-tech pro R/R for loads of info. You`ll get them from the states for about half of the £300 retail. |

Let's face it the less interest you have in a car the more you'll abuse it. Your own car gets treated with kid gloves, a company car gets some abuse, a hire car gets caned and the loan car you get when your car is delivered faulty gets bounced off the limiter!
Been there done that... but the loaner was a diesel escort before the days of turbo-diesels, so you had to thrash it to make even limited progress. Hope you get your like-for-like car today Mike.
