BMW 335d 2011 M57 ticking

Hy guys, I have a bmw 335d 2011 dpf off stage 1, it has 218.000 miles, the problem I’m experiencing is when I cold start the car and drive a bit I hear a ticking sound from the engine compartment, after I rev it once to 2000-2100 rpm the ticking sound goes away for good but when I cold start it the next day the ticking sound is back, what could it be? Thank you.

Bulanu335d,
Might be valve lash. Once oil reaches cams and valves the noise quietens. If not loud, I would not worry about it.

That's normal for a cold start. Let it idle for a bit before driving off.

I have seen these lifters wear and cause issues.
