M57 rough idle and vibration with engine up to operating temp

Hi, can't figure this one out hence the post. Thanks for any suggestions. I'm including basic diagnostic stats.

Issue:
Noticeable vibration on seats and steering wheel with engine up to operating temp. Happens in N and D when engine is idle. Cold start seems to be fine, no shudder or vibration.

Car / engine:
M57 231hp, xDrive, automatic. EGR in place, DPF in place, intake manifold swirl flaps in place.

Work done so far:
- both engine mounts replaced with BMW OE parts
- engine mounts vacuum system checked and confirmed to be fine
- VTG / transfer case mount replaced with BMW OE part

If I understand correctly you have a code for a fuel filter(4587) already I'd suggest doing that if you haven't already in the past it should fix the rough idle and and improve your fuel economy.

The part is about 30$, and you can find a tutorial and specific thread about it on here.

To my knowledge 4587 is fuel filter heating element fault. You cannot buy the heater separately - BMW dealership will sell it only with fuel filter housing for 300$.

Have this fault for 3 years now (4587), cold starts are good - vibration happens on warmed up engine so I doubt it's that simple, unfortunately.

I've narrowed the issue down to the intake manifold and swirl flaps.

By using laptop with diagnostic software I forced swirl flaps to open on idling engine - at idle swirl flaps are closed by default.

The immediate result was that engine started to run smoothly.
