We had a chance to meet up with Nayem today and install the LUX H8 160 angel eyes in his car. Despite a bit of rain the install took only 5 minutes and the lights such a nice change from stock. They were much more clear and defined and looked perfect.

Here is a quick picture we took of the lights installed.

These pure white angel eyes replacements offer a clean updated look to the car closely resembling the newer model cars. The LUX H8 160 angel eyes patented design utilizes 8 Cree LED's offer unmatched brightness to both the inner and outer angel eyes

LUX H8 160 angel eyes produce a total of 3200 lumen of pure white 7000k light which is the halogen equivalent of 160 watts! The stock 35 watt halogen bulb receives only 80-90% power and then drops to 50% power when utilized with the headlights; thus causing the angel eyes to become much dimmer. This is done to reduce heat within the headlight housing. Our LUX H8 160 angel eyes compensate for this dimming and always operate at full power allowing them to be clearly visible in the daytime . Our LED bulbs use a fraction of the power allowing them to run cooler and have a longer lifespan.

The LUX H8 160 offers the following Features:

• Pure white 7000K white light
• Equivalent to 160 watt halogen bulb
• Over 2x brighter than stock bulbs
• Guaranteed no dimming with all lighting modes
• No flickering on start-up Self Check Sequence
• Please Note - the Fade off feature may cause the angel eyes to pulse off
• Fully Fused and No EMI
• Brightest H8 Style LED Angel Eyes on the Market
• US Patent Number D720,483

What do you mean by " Fade off feature may cause the angel eyes to pulse off " ? Fade off as in when the lights turn off by themselves after you unlock the car?

Yes correct. this applies only to cars that have the fade on / fade off feature when you unlock / lock the car. When you lock the car they will not fade off but pulse off for a second instead.

Just got these yesterday and installed them. The amber corner light never bothered me before with the stock bulbs, but once I switched to the 160's I coded them out as soon as I could.

First Pic - A comparison of the H8 160 (Left) and stock bulb (Right)
Second Pic - Both lights installed
Third Pic - Outdoor shot of the 160's

LuxAngelEyes I've never ordered angel eyes before, but I'm heavily considering the H8 160. Is the average life of the bulbs the same as OEM? I have an '09 E92 and the stock angel eyes are still going.
