Proper tires for specified rims...
I'm looking to see what the proper tire sizes should be for these size rims..
20x8 and 20x9.5 235/35? 265/30? Or due to these being 20s, is it better off to run 235/30 and 265/25? Any insight would be great. Thanks.

My off the cuff reply would be 1, don't do 20's. but seriously 2. Don't get 20's
OK OK Seriously though, I'd see how practcal it is to go up one size with your tires. The 235/35-20 is going to give you a pretty minimal amount of sidewall as is but it shouldn't be objectionable. It's pretty much what I've had over the last year, BUT the 235/30 and 265/25 is going to be pushing it I would think over the edge between usefulness and overly harsh ride... Seriously though, the difference between 19" and 20" is pretty minimal and with the 19's you still get a reasonable tire selection and good high quality if somewhat firm riding tire. 20" wheels in DC is going to be pretty harsh, I know what the roads are like out there, I spent 2years working at a facility there next to Ft Mead.
