Thanks for having me here!

About three weeks ago, I bought a mint Alpine White on black 2011 328i Coupe (E92LCI), from my best friend. It turned 92,000 miles on the test drive. I almost didn’t buy it. On the test drive, when I pulled out of the driveway, the right side rear view mirror fell off and broke. I was like, hell no, that’s 7 years bad luck. But, I thought about it for a couple hours, he replaced the mirror, as soon as he could. And, I soldered on with the purchase. The car was just to nice to pass up. And, since he’s my friend, the price was very friendly. He took very good care of it. I had it checked out at my local BMW shop and it checked out perfect. The only two flaws it has are the bottom of the front bumper cover was scratched up and the left door inside pull is not looking to good. It’s not a handle like a lot of BMWs have. It’s more like a cup that you put your hand into and pull the door closed. I had the front bumper cover repainted. But, I’m not sure what to do about the inside door pull. The pull is plastic welded into the door panel. So, it’s not a cheap, easy fix. The only other things I have done, is replace the turn signals on the side of the front fenders with black LED units. And I put on a set of new gloss black TA5R wheels from BimmerWorld, with Nitto tires. And, I put on a new set of black and white wheel center caps. It already had black and white trunk and hood emblems. So, the black side markers and wheels and center cals tie everything together. Here’s the wheels. They look so good on the car!

I’ll have a lot of questions. I want to do some suspension. I joined some other BWM forums and Facebook groups. But, there seems to be very little traffic there and I’m having a hard time getting my questions answered. So, I’m hoping things will be different here.

Please, don’t everyone reply at once! You may overwhelm the system here.

Love the wheels, not crazy about the black color but at least its gloss. I would wrap or paint the window trim in gloss black and swap the black front bumper reflectors for body colored.

By suspension do you mean replacing parts or do you want to lower the car?

These forums are pretty much the best place to get your questions answered. There is no comparison to Facebook or Reddit where something gets posted and maybe it'll get answered and then it'll disappear. Whenever you look an issue up for these cars one of the 3 major BMW forums show up, not Facebook

Well TBH, we didn't have too much choice about having you here

Seriously, there is no better place for info on your platform. Just realize that the older a platform gets, the slower its forums get. I used to be on here all the time, but I've moved on to a different platform. I still have my N54 E90, so I still keep tabs but it seems like things have slowed down here.

So many of these cars are now in the hands of kids and they don't know how to use the internet

Here is my theory of how these car forums evolve. Good luck with your car!
