CF hood for 08 e90, and angel eye problem
I am going to replace my oem hood with a CF one, most likely the Aero Function AF-1. My question is regarding the kidney grills as they are different on an 08 from 09+ E90s.. the new hood seems to be setup for the 09+ style, if i just buy new kidney grills, will they fit correctly on my 08 model?
Finally if anyone has suggestions or there is a consensus on a good brand for CF hoods, let me know. Also, my drivers side angel eye has been out for months... i have Cree 40W angel eyes coded as DRLs, so far i have replaced the angel eye bulb and also cleared the short circuit code from the FRM module... which btw was a huge pain to figure out how to do.. any ideas what this could be would be appreciated. |

If you install an LCI (09+) hood you'll need new kidney grills AND a new front bumper.
