Advice on rear suspension
Hi guys,
One of my rear shocks failed today and so I’m sourcing parts so I can replace both rears. I want to do a full job, but what I’m unclear on is what additional parts I need to do a full job of replacing them. I.e. the various rubbers and lower mount etc. Could someone enlighten me please as to what I need? It’s a 2011 E91 325D and I’m wanting to replace both rear shocks and the various parts to go with it. Any advice, much appreciated. Thank you, Dan |

Thanks a lot for your help! I take it you just order two of each then? Not handed or anything? Thanks, Dan |

Yep, the dust cover kit comes as a pair, so you only need to order one of those. Then just two of everything else. I got the whole lot for £164 on autodoc.
Download the autodoc app if you haven't already, and I think the best deals can be had on Mondays (their prices fluctuate every day, a bit like euro car parts does). The only criticism is that delivery can take a little while sometimes. My order came within about a week, but recently I ordered some brake discs and they took what seemed like forever to arrive. |

Ace. I got the shocks from ECP for a decent price and the rear from AUTODOC. I just hope they arrive quickly! Going on holiday next week! Thanks, Dan |

If you struggle to find SACHS part number (or it is not listed on autodoc), you may go directly to their website, they have dust covers, for example.
