E90 320d auto high fuel consumption

Hello everyone

Its been a week since I got E90 320d auto with 163 ps and it drives great, very satisfied but the only thing it conserns me si the high fuel consumption I think Im getting. From what I've noticed is around 11-12l / 100km in urban driving. Ive checked temp and its fine at 90°. Is this normal or something is wrong?

I have a E91 with the same engine as you. 120kw but mine is manual. This is my second E91, both are with the same 120kw and manuals. I only drive in a city, very often short drives and I can tell you both of these BMW's easily consumed 10l/100km for me so I just got used to it and thought it's normal I guess. Also auto's eat more fuel than manuals. People saying they get 6-7l in a city are bullshit.

seems a bit high my n47d20 with bad tires averaged 5.4 in the summer and now in the snow I'm averaging 6.4 with both urban and highway driving...
