Best deal on 2010 328xi coupe
I'm in the market for a 2010 328xi coupe (only 1 328i coupe left in Canada which is black on black) and was wondering what kind of deals people were able to get on these remaining inventory? I'm looking at one with:
- auto - premium package - sport package - non-metallic paint MSRP on the road is roughly $62-63k The markup is roughly 9.1% so I was wondering based on past experience, what kind of discount people have been able to get from dealers in the past? Thanks. |

A base 2011 335 xi coupe MSRP starts $54,100
$1600 for auto $2000 for NAVI puts it at $57,700 before freght, PDI, taxes, etc. which is more than I'm willing to spend. APA approved dealer is willing to sell 5% below MSRP without any haggling which is why I'm curious to know if anyone has been able to get more than 5% discount. |

I got a 2010 328xi coupe in December of 2009. The car had premium package and tiptronic. I received:
$4000 off MRSP (around 7% off, so dealer only made ~2%) $2000 off for paying cash upfront Total saving of $6000 Pretty sure I got $4000 off because the dealer was a few cars away from hitting their year end targets. |

just so you know, i recently ordered 2011 335i coupe and negociated around $4400 off the price and $1000 loyalty discount, so total discount was around 5400$ off... go to carcostcanada, print invoice price, go to the dealership, offer them $500 above invoice and don't pay attention to the bullshit they will be telling you (how it's below their cost bla bla), and don't be affraid to walk away... Actually I do not want a 335i as I don't think I need all that power and like the 328i better. When I referred to 62k on the 328xi coupe, that is the current MSRP (ie. that is what the dealer advertises with freight, A/C tax, GST, PST, etc). In no way would I pay that kind of dough for a 328. I actually mentioned to one dealer and that APA has negotiated a price of 5% off the MSRP with local T.O. dealer with no haggle and even listed my invoice prices from APA and the response I got was to go buy it then as that is a great deal. Wow, guess dealerships are doing well and are in no hurry to clear their inventory or believe there demand is higher than the supply. I'm in no rush so can definitely play the waiting game. My other option, once I get some more free time on my hand is maybe look into the import route. However, its still early as there are not many 2010 listed on car.com
Thanks guys for the responses. I'm in fact lost some hype as I had a few cars lined up but none of the deals fell through. |
