Got towed, car was lifted by the rear, front tires dragged

Car drove fine afterwards, but what hidden damages could there be?

Oh, he was only able to tow it a few feet before I ran out of the building.

I shouldn't have said dragged, the wheels were definitely rolling.

I'm pretty sure you'll be fine and no damage was done. It's not a viscous coupling like older AWD models. We have an electronic unit which I don't believe is engaged while the car is off.

The rear was on a dolly, not the front.

I doubt with the car not running the TC would/could engage at all (ie it should stay fully open) while the rears are on a dolly and the fronts rotating.

One way to put your mind at ease & test this would be to jack up the front of the car, so that both wheels are off the ground. See if you can rotate both front wheels by hand (if you have a friend around do them at the same time same direction). If they rotate reasonably freely then you are good to go.

When I jack up my car to change tires, the front wheels do spin freely when they are off the ground and the car is turned off.
