Exclamation Please Help: Oil leaks problems

Hello, my name is Leonel, I live in Guatemala and I own a BMW 330D, e90 2007 with about 69,000 miles, which for several months has been giving me problems and I do not know what could be happening.

A few months ago he was a maintenance service and workshop where I took, they put eurol oil 20W50 and I think from there began the problem. A normal day, I sped up and I threw oil on the dipstick. After that, I made oil change for a 10W30 for diesel engines and everything returned to normal. A month later he began with serious problems. He broke the rear retainer crankshaft, the turbo started throwing oil.

So the rear crankshaft retainer and the turbo were changed. We put Liqui Moly oil 5W30 and everything worked well until the 300 miles or so, until he returned to throw oil into the turbo, and it was a major oil leak.

The scanner only marks error codes in the flow control valve in the high pressure pump. So right now I wanted to change the valve and replace the filter that separates oil and air, but I'm afraid that there did not end the problem.

Someone could help me know if there ends the problem or is there something more that can influence and how to fix it.

Hi Leonel,

As you changed the turbo, maybe rings haven't been changed or maybe some of them could be missing. i think to the rings 8 or 11 on this schema

Good observation, but the leak is between the turbo and catalyst. I'm thinking it must be some problem related to the pressure

This engine absolutely needs the right type of oil. It should be 5w30 LL04 or 0w30 LL04. I think regarding the weather in Guatemala 5w30 should be the right choice.
The oil can come from the upper part of the turbo and the leak only appears under it between the turbo and catalyst. First check your oil level to be sure it's not over the max level. This could cause an engine fail. If everything is fine then i still think to a ring failure. During a turbo change mechanics should change many rings, and there is an turbocharger install kit with all the needed parts provided by BMW. Here's the link.
It could be one of these parts.

This oil is coming from somewhere, we have to find where

Thank you very much, today I will be checking the oil level and trading parts, so that the other week go to the shop and perhaps so we can solve this problem. Really thank you for your attention, I'll be posting as soon as it advances

So, I finally change the filter, the flow control valve, and level the oil level and that was it. I think a bad oil level, poor mixture of diesel and clogged filter will give contributed to this problem

Thank you for your attention
