Don't mean to

But I just wet sanded my head/fog lights this past Sunday and they look great! 800, 1000, 1500 and finally 2000 grit sand paper. Went at it with a Meguiars Power Ball with a drill at about 1200-1600 rpm's.

Question for those of you that have cleaned your head lights:
My headlights seem to still look slightly hazzy, but I believe it's coming from the inside of the headlight plastic covering. Are any of you experiencing this? If so what have you done to clear this problem up? I've searched and I've heard that you have to bake the headlight to remove the plastic cover, and that's something I DEFINITELY don't and won't do.

I've seen this on mine.. Would be interested to know if this can be resolved without having to dismantle the headlight. Anyone else had this issue?

Honestly I would try polishing way before wet sanding. Use a standard compound like M105 and a surbuf pad. Compound then step down to a finishing compound and then seal. Depending on how bad they are it could celan them up well. Could use an AIO as suggested to one step but my experience with older casrs and plastic lenses is to compound them. If you do wet sand, actually even if you compound you will need to reseal these every time you do the paint as you'll remove most of the UV coating that's left.
