Auto transmission service

I have a 2010 320D auto and was shopping around for a trans service, vehicle has 92,000km and I have added 42,000 of those in the last year.

The local dealer I didn't even ask. The others were an M sport specialist shop $1200, uses genuine parts. The next was a Euro service centre who do BMW/Audi/Merc, they wanted $850. The local auto trans place, been there for 40yrs, his price was $484.

I wasn't after the cheapest job and tried to ask where do you source the sump from, which brand of fluid etc to keep prices consistent.

Happy with the job, car runs a little quitter and changes are smoother. Fluid that came out had changed colour slightly, but was not dark.
