Don't want to get ripped off! Help with ABS issues
So I recently bought a '07 325i with known ABS issue. The ABS light pings on when the car starts up. I took it to an independent garage and they used tool to find the codes and told me that the issue is with steering angle sensor/column that will cost £600 for the part and £500 for labour. I have attached issues of the control system messages and the faults codes too. Is the car safe to drive without this repair? Am i being ripped off? What should I do?? Really don't want to spend a fortune on it

Have you checked the brake fluid? Low level of brake fluid or blown fused from abs system may cause this problem. If you need more detail to fix it, this article about abs light on may be helpful for you: https://www.obdadvisor.com/abs-light-on/
