Seriously, thank you rhombus for keeping us n52 owners updates. I plan on getting the kit in the future, I need all the kinks ironed out. Its nice to know that the fuel is thr limiting factor and not the engine internals hopefully. I look foward to following this thread throughout 2015. Thank you again!!!

No problem. Im sure there is a limit to the internals. The engine was designed to have a light weight rotating assembly. I have seen pics of the rods and they look decent. I am sure that 300whp is within reason for the engine if done properly. I think that with the extra fuel, boost and a set of headers, it will be a very lively engine. Its getting there as it is.

Dont mind my dirty winter engine bay.

Driveability has been great, still on the same map. I just got some 100octane to test timing on. I will hopefully do that tomorrow.

Engine Oil Housing Gasket is leaking, you should keep an eye out for that before the coolant and oil mixes together.

Im swapping the gasket next week or so. I also got the Euro/E60 filter housing with the heat exchanger so the car will have an oil cooler; I figure that it cant hurt to have one. Replacing all my hoses, radiator and expansion tank while I am at it. Water pump and tstat have already been replaced. I will document the process for others to do the upgrade. It would be an easy swap except you have to replace the lower water neck, which is under the exhaust manifold, with a unit that has the port on it that returns from the heat exchanger.

Thanks for the upload. Looking good!

Is 5psi what it was before? Or did they just lower it?

ESS seems to be on track. The 128i and 330i kits are done apparently and the next one to be 100% finished is the 328i. They also told me they can code for headers and that kits should be on the webshop early spring at the latest.

That's quite an improvement I find, considering you have an e91 325Xi, I like to use more 100km/h to 200km/h for comparison purpose, and in your case if I'm not mistaken it takes around 13sec, my stock 330i auto does it in ~15sec, the 328i you posted ~16sec, a stock 325xi probably even higher, so your time of 13sec is quite amazing in my opinion, I can't wait to see the results on a lighter non XI N52.

Btw. I'm aware that comparing videos like that is not accurate at all... but it gives a general idea...
