I was recently in your shoes! I couldnt find any install guides for the LCI. I just got my E-90 Lci yesterday and had the dealer install them when i picked up my car. They only charged me $20 so i would try that route. I used the City Vision Angel eyes and they were just what i was looking for. I recommend them if u go LED for the angel eyes

Since the 2011 e92 has the white angel eyes, I'm really surprised BMW hasn't done the same thing for the sedan. I would think it would help them out to share as many parts as possible between the cars.

Ya i watched them do it at the dealer and looks like the hardest part is just having small enough hands to grab the H8 buld and replacing it lol. Good luck and the dealer isnt a bad option if u want to know it was done 100% right

$20 to install? Sounds completely worth it to me.

The 6W LED Angel Eye Bulbs by City Vision Lighting looks great on your E90 LCI! This is one of the best systems PNP solutions out in the market. I personally have these on my 2008 BMW E92 335i and they're great! Here's a few pictures of them on my car as well for you guys to check out! To the OP, I'll send you a PM with more details !

I found it helpful to take off the cover over the high beam light...if you look through that hole, you can actually see the tabs on the bulb line up with the cut-outs in the headlight to ensure that all of them are locked in

i might try to do that tomorrow morning, the dimming is really getting to me now since the passenger side angel eyes are perfectly lit, maybe i just turned the bulb but didnt get it into all of the tabs

Simplist thing ever to do... rear of the headlight unscrew the cap to reveal the rear of the angel headlight bulb, twist the bulb out, twisting it away from the grill if you understand, toward the direction of the wing/fender, pull the bulb out unclip the connector, switch the bulbs, insert into socket at the same angle (notice the socket has cut outs to match the bulb holder) twist toward the grill to lock in place, place the cap back on.

Oh, that's great...I thought the e90 LCIs need to work through the front wheel and remove the cover off to access the h8 bulb

Is this the same with the 2011 E90? The H8 bulbs I bought came with a ballast and everything

Passenger side you might be able to install through the fender liner and from above, I switched back and forth on mine to get it in and that was way easier (ie guide it through fender liner, grab from above, switch positions and install from above). Also if you did not remove the front wheel I found turning them left/right at certain points really helped, ie one way to remove fender liner, turn the other way to install lights. Cant remember which way was good for what though sorry. Remove the filter box for the drivers side, 2 bolts, a screw and some clips it will do wonders to help you get it in. There is a DIY for removing the intake in the DIY section, just make sure the intake hose at the rear of the filter box is on properly when you're done, it's a real bugger to get on again, but just takes patience.
