First time summer/aftermarkets help

So here is what im thinking:

OEM Type 161 (Front: 17x8 ET34 225/45 R17) (Rear: 17x8.5 ET37 255/40 R17)

Proposed: VMR V710 19 inch gumental
front are 235/35/19 85% thread 8.5
rear are 245/35/19 80% thread (staggered) 9.5
Offset 35

TireTech Front Comparo

TireTech Rear comparo

(please correct my noob ness)
So i see:
- the front tire being 1cm wider
- rear tire being 1 cm less wide (good or bad?)
- profile only dropping by 1cm??? doesnt seem much from a 17-19".

even worth the switch? or am i misreading something?

compatibility seems fine, from what i read on TireTech, again im prob missing something.

Thoughts?

2013 BMW F30  [0.00]
2014 BMW F22  [0.00]
2013 BMW F06  [0.00]
Our typical recommended setup includes:

8.5 ET35 with 235/35/19
9.5 ET45 with 265/30/19

* We have some customers who run 9.5 ET33 REAR (slightly aggressive). I don't foresee any issues in rubbing if you plan to run a smaller tire in 245/35/19 for the 9.5.

The 245/35/19 on the 9.5 will appear just slightly stretched. That being said, it's still within tire manufacturer's recommended rim width range for that size tire.

Hey right from the source, thanks very much.

So 265 on a 10.5" rim is better? or safer?

Or 255s on a 10 inch rim...

I was more concerned with the step down, going from the 255 to a 245...seems opposite of what people usually do.

thanks again
