So they screwed on that "meisterschaft" plate to cover up the eisenmann logo on their counterfeits?

No, according to their website that's the optional "Aero Shield," that is "Used in conjunction with exhaust for less aerodynamic drag (Anodized in Black)."

Haha, it also costs an additional $249.00. What a load of crap.

LOL~ great Monday morning joke. Thanks Sanford.

These jokers need to be sodomized in a Federal Penitentiary for pulling off scams like these.

What is IGA? I would be surprised if any exhaust manufacturer uses low carbon 304.
IGA = Inter Granular Attack - Carbon combines with chrome to form chrome-carbides in the HAZ, Heat Affected Zone. This depletes the grain boundaries of chrome which promotes corrosion attack. It will look like the weld failed but it is not in the weld fusion zone. Less carbon = less carbide formation = less of an IGA problem. Hence the 304L, low carbon. Better yet, use 321 which is titanium stabilized. No IGA issues.

You guy would be surprised. That design is excellent and provides a really good rich sound.

Supersprint is also designed sorta like that.

Damn right, because the construction of that exhaust was contracted out to someone else by Eisenhaus under the authorization of eisenmann. The factory in Germany does not have the ability to work with titanium so Eisenhaus stepped in and offered to help produce these units. If the welds broke, then, it should be warrantied by eisenmann but the underlying problem is more likely that they used a factory that does not live up to the standard.

I don't know what you have against eisenmann but they are the OEM manufacturer of a lot of exhausts and their quality is definitely up to the standard when compared to other manufacturers of exhausts.

It's just a pity that the brand Eisenmann is being tarnished like this. I dealt with a lot of exhaust and they definitely have the quality.

I strongly believe that the fact that AMG / Brabus and Porsche use their manufacturing capabilities to build OE exhausts, should be a testament to their quality.

As for the price, it is pretty much the trend for all the other German brands that we sell, such as Carlsson, Brabus, Hartge, Hamann and much more. I don't think that it is just Eisemann alone.... the weak dollar really isn't helping...

just my 2cents

Gorgeous. Please, someone alert that dealer and the owner of that M3 that his eisenmann is fake. But the exhaust in these pics is amazing.

Because of obvious misinformation? Kind of ironic considering the thread's subject...

Why are you so defensive about other exhaust brands? It shows signs of weakness. Sorry your stuff is not as popular in the US. I enjoy all the different brands. I went with Bastuck and I might change to an Eisenmann or Supersprint in the future.

Thank you.
My question is, "When exactly was Remus the OEM manufacturer for these companies? What's the output volume when Remus is the OEM manufacturer?" It could have been years ago or it could have been fairly recent. Listing a previous partnership means nothing if you only did one exhaust for one car in one model year. We can have IND ask eisenmann the same questions as well. Looking forward to your reply.

You guys would be surprised. Remus performs really well, which is why they are picked to make exhausts for big car companies. They offer really good low end torque, with a great sound. Many cheap mufflers I've tried I have lost my low-end torque in my other car.
Remus also prices their mufflers really reasonable. I would get a Remus over an Essienman any day.
Also Remus offers really good customer service!
