As you may be aware, the 335is has additional cooling vents in place of fog lights, but it still comes equipped with a fog light button since fog lights were a factory option on the 335is. The button is fully functional, the green fog light comes up on the dash and everything.

I am wondering if I could remap this button to something more useful/fun, I don’t have anything specific in mind but I am interested to hear what kind of ideas you all might have. My thoughts/ideas:

• Could I remap this button to something else within the FRM? Not sure what, but anything would be more useful than it is now. Maybe rear fogs?
• Would it be possible to use this as a power button for an aftermarket device? Something along the lines of radar jammer or a dashcam.

I would go for dashcam trigger. I know some models allow you to protect a recording segment if you press on an external button they provide.

If I get a dashcam like that; I'm going to turn the clown nose under the rearview mirror into that trigger. I don't have an alarm, so it's just sitting there.

Rear fog lights are already there and easy to "unlock". You have to grind of the small tabs on the bottom button.
