I'm planning to get the mega-speed tune from JR elctronics. Any member from the Toronto area want to join me in getting the tune? Maybe we can get a better deal if we have multiple car. current pricing is $800.

He quoted me $749 for the tune. The tune is the last thing I get for my car. I want to be able to take full advantage of it after LSD and suspension work is all done.

very well said Greek a tune should always be last after making APPROPRIATE changes i.e. schocks brakes wheels etc etc

I currently got a JBD on my car as well; it is good for what it is but a full ecu tune is way better.
Regardless if no ones joins me in getting the tune, i'll be doing it this coming spring. |

Unless you plan to track the car on a daily basis, LSD and suspension is a lot of money if all you do is daily the car.

Thanks, I just checked out your picture after install. They look pretty nice. I was torn between Cyba and Dimisa, but I talked to a few locals, and they agreed with Cyba. I don't think you could go wrong with either.

I want to put some black exhaust tips too, but after the suspension work in a couple of weeks and a bit later a tune, and then some ARC-8 wheels and better non winter tires. Then later comes cosmetics.

For now, I'm just looking forward to putting on the new RGRs when the weather turns. I know that there is definitely a fender roll, allignment, and walnut blast in my near future as well, but I'm sure I'll find some other things to do. BTW, once spring arrives... I absolutely want to see the d's getting their warmer weather upgrades! DFan, you sir, are about to be on a roll. You definitely get the put-everybody-to-shame-in-only-a-few-months award |

Same here. I'm already on KW V3 coils and once I do the entire swap to M3 suspension and Megan Racing toe arms next month, pics won't even show much. Same for when I put the LSD in too.
I have a topic in here somewhere with pics of what I've already done to my car. |

A buddy of mine (whos always driven true sleepers) has a motto: its better to be fast than to look fast. This is what i love about your pending setup. Once you get a tune on there to go with all of the wornderful suspension mods...Beelzebub in a lambs disguise. |

Yes, sir. Diamond black for me as well (red center caps), but I picked them up just after Christmas, so they haven't really been on the car yet except for a quick test fit. |

I'm getting someone else to do the work FR. I'm good doing most of my cosmetic mods but I'm not messing around with my own suspension.
I love my RGRs in diamond black too. I went with Michelin PSS tires, staggered set-up. I sold my gold BBS caps and went with CF/silver ones because they better suited my other mods and car colour scheme. |

LSD standard, yes, but I'd really like a 4 wheel drive option...something to help even more with the traction.
