They do those at a local Mexican place here. Huge frozen 'Rita in a bowl/glass with two upended Coronas in it. Yuck.

Iceberg's aren't too bad.

Bottom half of cup = light beer
Top half of cup = frozen marg

They serve them at a lot of the resorts in Mexico.

These are fantastic. My gf and I have gone to Playa Mujeres (Beloved and Excellence resorts) the past 2 years and there's nothing like getting sitting on the beach having people bring you endless icebergs.

they had some powder or something you pour into a beer at a place i ate at recently and they said it was popular in mexico.

they said it taste like margarita-beer but it just tasted like barf to me.

i still drank the whole thing because i'm not one to leave a beer behind but never again -- never! again!

The couple of times I went to the Moon Palace, I only had to order Cuba Libré once by the pool, and my hand/glass was never empty again. When everyone else was on the other side of the resort and I had to walk back to the room, I noticed the bars were kinda like El Camino Real in that each bar was a drink's walk apart

I only like it mixed in with Mtn Dew or cranberry juice, haha. I've taken shots of it before, and it is literally the worst.
