Dead DME confirmation, please?

Dead DME,
N52N, MSV70

Long story short, I am getting battery voltage @ X6224/1 or X6214/1 with ignition on (Connections at both Crank Position Sensors, supposed to be 5v).

I had another (likely bad but never confirmed) MSV70 DME laying around and tried it out, getting the same voltage and wanted to confirm that there is nothing else that can cause this.

Looking at wiring diagrams, there's no other way that this could happen unless the DME was sending the incorrect voltage?

Thanks in advance.
