Soon to be 08 AW MT E90 335i owner!
First post so excuse me if its a little lengthy. Been lurking for quite a while and have a few questions as well.
Placed my order over at BWM Seattle end of October. Was going to do this back in June but decided to wait on the 08's. Went into production 1st week of Sept currently at port waiting for a ride home. Order build: AW E90 335i, 6MT, Black w/ Alum ZCW ZPP ZSP AS CA PDC NAV HD Radio Satellite Radio iPod Initial Mods (most on ordered already): M Sport Shifter/E-Brake 19" Matte w/ Red TimeAttacks or HyperBlack CSL Reps on General Exclaim UHP (more info below..ugh) Tint 30% Matte Black Kidneys PIAA LED Angel Eyes Xenesis Tru-Match Fogs KW V2 Coilovers Future Mods: M Sport Wheel Procede, JB2 or TT? Full Exhaust - reccomendations here! M-Tech M3 Bumpers and skirt Issues: CSL's - Originally had my mind set on the hyperblack 19x8.5 ET40, 19x9.5 ET30 then saw them in Matte Black w/ red time attacks (brandonanix's E92) which I really want. The problem is the matte black only come in ET22 or ET45 rears which force a 10mm or 12mm spacer. I am not a fan of spacers whatsoever and want to steer clear of any issues with rubbing, etc. Either rim would have General UHP's in 235/35-19, 265/30-19 or 275/30's. I really dig the red time attack rings and don't think they would look to good on the hyperblacks and also like the matte color much better. Anyways, I need to make a decision soon as my CA offered to mount the wheels at no charge during the PDI process. If anyone can link or post a pic of hyperblacks w/ red time attacks or even matte black CSLs on a AW E90, much appreciated!. Right now I am leaning towards the matte blacks /w spacers. Questions: Was looking for reccomendations on type of tint and where to get it done and for references of any auto/perf shops that would put in the coilovers. If anyone has done the coilovers, please let me know what the cost for labor was. Also looking for anyone in the area with Procede that would be open to give me a ride. Oh and btw, I love this f'in forum. So much good info I can't stop reading lol. |

Just get your wheels refinished locally however you like. Shouldn't be too difficult.
Congrats BTW!

The trip to the dealer from Bremerhaven is torture, but it's so worth it when it's over |

biggest bummer though.. everything is set to arrive besides the wheels before my car shows up. I guess the flipside is EAS will finally get the matte black csl's in 19" ET30 fitment so worth the 2 month wait without spacers or fender rollage! |

Loving the Coral/Interior... I'd do Silver next time, maybe Grey next time though, the White exterior is pretty bland.
But the Coral Red is awesome and I shit you not it attracts pretty women like a sale at Victoria's Secret.

Ohsnap,
You will love the car. The AS is incredible. PM me if you are interested in getting together with some other 335 owners in the area. I have ordered Procede and two others in the group have Procede and are upgrading to 2.0 These Procede cars are incredibly fast! Carl ps I have held off on tint due to my concerns over radio recption and comfort access.

I went on a Hood River Run today. A few DSM, Honda, Mitsu, Audi owners. I talked to a 328i owner that was getting his car towed. He got a flat in Oregon, and lives in Yakima. He said he loves the car. It was Space Grey, so I had to check it out.
I might look into prices in Cali, Vegas when I go on vacation. I saved a lot buying in Cali. Edit: OH, I also seen a ton of BMW's driving down the 5. It said Ultimate Drive on the sides. All silver.
