Lemans Blue 335is ordered UPDATED!

Pulled the trigger. Should be a sweet ride.
Lemans blue/black interior
premium pkg
premium sound
19's
DCT
nav

MSRP $60095, zero down, 36 month/10k, $585/month

I'll be posting some parts off my '11 E90 shortly

Took delivery on April 11th. Ordered on Feb 16th so roughly a two month process. The tracking process works pretty well but your CA will have the best and most up-to-date info.

The business manager needed to change some #'s around to meet their 'needs' which was fine since they were able to drop my payment to $580 a month with nothing from me. The MF dropped from .0013 to .00129 over the past 2 months but I left it where it was and let them keep the $1 per month I would have saved in light of my payment dropping anyways. And I 'reminded' them they needed to apply the $500 Turn Key credit towards my start-ups. So...

$1800 total up front (acq fee, docs, reg, tax on cap cost red incentives, etc.)

Zero down on my part towards cap cost reduction

$580 a month with 7% sales tax included.

I paid fees upfront but zero cap cost reduction. Why pay interest and tax on fees as well? The payment includes 7% sales tax.

That's a great deal, I am paying 622.00, but I didn't pay a dime out of pocket. Literally signed and drove off. I don't give money because I keep a car 6 months to a year, so It doesn't make sense. I would rather pay the extra 30 a month for 6 months, then give them inceptions up front. You did really well.

Thanks guys. Certainly in your case Matt it doesn't make sense to pay the fees up front. I think in a lot of cases people dont realize by rolling their fees in that not only is the dealer making a little on the fees, now you're paying interest on those fees and taxes as well. And if there's any kind of cap cost reduction, in my case the 1500 lease credit and 750 loyalty, you have to pay sales tax on that, which is then part of your fees that are rolled in and taxed again.

People were interested in details of the deal so here you go. I had two dealers, each had a build available because you're not gonna find many of these sitting on a lot. I'm into the pull ahead portion of my present lease and the dealers seemed eager to play so we did. I'm ex army and a USAA member so right off the bat I get invoice plus 1200 on this model at any participating dealer. It helps to have a few dealers to chose from and I have 5 or 6 within 50-60 miles. Its a 36 month, 10k a yr lease which gives me a residual figure of 65%. The lease and loyalty credit for 2250. Top tier BMW credit with a base rate of .0013. My adjusted cap cost was 54324.

My payment is actually 583 now. I had a issue getting the MF out of my CA so a terse email and conversation with the sales manager confirmed they tried to slide .00132 by me. Only 60 over the term of the lease but you tell the guy you'll drop 500k on cars in the next 20 years and they'll get none of it if they try that shit again it resolves the issue quickly.

Just remember out of the five components that make up a lease payment, you and the dealership only have any control over two, adjusted cap cost and MF. That is where the shell game lies. I take fees out of the equation by getting a deal disclosure from two or three dealers. This has a itemized list of each fee and cost. I just try to make sure the aquisition fee isnt marked up and everyone is charging roughly the same for the various items

This is a excellent website I use for Mf's, residuals and overall info. Great lease calculator too. http://www.ridewithg.com/

Here, let me hand feed.

MSRP 60095
my price. 56607
cap cost red 2282.90
adj cap cst. 54324.43
this is the # the payment is based on. cap cost reduction is factory incentives.
MF is. 0013 and residual is 65% on a 36/10k lease. sales tax is 7% . Use a lease calc and figure it out.

I never mentioned how much I mine for so your comment about me not being a good negotiator is irrelevant.

I said that I doubt you got that IS for that low with zero down so don't be so sensitive and get offended.

Dude, the #'s are in front of you. Do you see a cap cost reduction besides the lease and loyalty credit? I've never put money on a lease and never will. And I never lease a car based on the payment. I base my decision on whether the adj cap cost is low enough, the money factor is low enough, and the residual high enough. If those numbers are satisfactory, the payment falls into place.

That's a great deal!

I priced out a fairly well equipped '13 335i Coupe with an MSRP of $55,455 for 36 months/12K a year with $0 down. Even with loyalty and being a BMW employee, I was looking at $515.

Edit - Double checked the figures, came out to $415. My apologies.

I heard end of April from someone somewhat in the know...Call BMW you'll get such a vague answer it's not worth the trouble.
