TPMS Inactive
Hey guys, I just installed new wheels on my 2007 E92 328xi, and it's my first time doing so. The wheels are from an F chassis 3 series.
It seems that upon installing them, I get a TPMS Inactive light. The wheels came equipped with their own TPMS sensors, so I was wondering what the best/most cost effective option would be, knowing that I bought an external TPMS sensor. I was thinking about turning off the warning light for good and just use the external sensors I bought (how do I do this?) I am also open for suggestions on how to go about this. I posted a picture for reference. Thanks! |

The F30 sensors are different, so you either need to transfer your old sensors to the new wheels or just have it coded out and be done with it.
I coded mine out even though it worked perfectly, less complication and less weight in the wheels. |
