Abs sensor bolt
Tried changing my rear abs sensor only to find the hex or torx bolt that's there is rounded
Before I drill it out does anyone know where I can get replacements |

I cannot imagine there is anything special about those bolts.
According to Real OEM they are M6 x 16 Allen type. Ok, as standard they probably have a Torx head but that was probably to make building the car simpler for BMW and to deter the average driver from tinkering before the days when Torx was common and your average DIY mechanic had a set of Torx bits! Anywhere that sells M6 Allen bolts like Halfrauds or a motor factor can sort you out a replacement. If you want originality buy a BMW bolt. They are probably only pennies in comparison to the ABS sensor you are replacing anyway. |
