I just bought my first bmw, a 2010 335 xi that looked pretty clean and fully stock, no tunes at all. When driving the car is flawless, no delay or misfires or anything. My issue is when idle either in drive, park or reverse. The car randomly feels like it has a misfire but not a skip.It also gives me a check engine light that I read as a cylinder 2 misfire. I've already taken it to the dealer to see if there was a quick fix, they checked the fuel injectors, spark plugs, and changed the coils. Nothing worked, they did a compression test on all cylinders and put a camera in the cylinders to check for build up of carbon, nothing. I've put a couple grand trying to fix this and the dealer said they gave up and couldn't figure it out. Im out of options and I need some help. Did anybody ever have this issue and if not can somebody please point me in the right direction, I'm desperate.
Also the rpms do not move at all with the engine hiccup and you can also hear he exhaust go out and back when the hiccup happen. |
