Cool Should I upgrade to 18" staggered wheels?

I am looking to buy a staggered 18" wheel & tire set for my 2006 E90 (stock 17") and I like the Miro 111 wheel and the Hankook Ventus V12 but I am concerned about handling and suspension performance. I plan to get the 225/40 R18 (front) & 255/35 R18 (back). I love the 19"s look but don't care for the chopy ride. Does any body have any suggestions/comments on my wheel/tire size & upgrade choice?
Thanks!

I'm guessing you are looking at 18x8 and 18x8.5 judging by your tire sizes. You will love the look. Staggered setups increase understeer, but so does having a shitty tire. If you're coming from a junk tire to a summer, it's a good compromise.

I just mounted 225/40/18 V12's on my friend's car, upsizing from 205/50/16's, and the difference is incredible. Absolutely every single aspect of the car is better - looks, handling, comfort, noise, etc. Well, I guess treadwear went down, but who cares?

The biggest difference will be the ride quality going from runflats to non-runflats...it's so much better

You know OP, 19's really aren't that bad if you are on good tires lol.

Thanks guys for the info.
I think that i will go with the 18"s.
Hooy, I believe that the wheels sizes are 18x8.5 front & 18x 19.5 back. originally, I was looking at getting Continental Extreme Contact DW but seem to be back ordered at a national level.
As far as the wheel weight, i was told that the Miro are lighter than OEM and since I don't plan on racing and there are some pot holes in the neighborhood.
Next up would be a trunk spoiler. Any suggestions??
I will be looking for something sporty but classy. No whale tails please LOL !!

I have Miro 111 19x8.5 & 19x9.5 matte black they look sick and with nexen 3000 tires, I was gonna go with 18's like you but 19's looked sick so just decided to go with them and I'm glad I did, ride quality isn't that much of a difference, I would Def. go with 19's staggered.

From the research I've done they are actually very light.

19x9.5 24.5lb
19x8.5 23.5lb

It actually seems too good to be true. I got this from a post with someone displaying a picture while they were on a scale, so there is risk it was rigged or just incorrect.
